Shadow—12 years old. He came into rescue at 10 years old when his 94 yr old owner died. It is very hard to place older Weims and unfortunately most are destroyed. I fell in love with him over the 2 yrs he was in rescue and brought him home. |

The Weimaraner has two coat types short hair which is able to be registered and able to be shown under the AKC. The long hair is also a coat type, but, is not recognized by AKC. |

Although, AKC recognizes three colors—silver, gray and blue (pictured), only silver and gray may be shown under AKC. |
